Opening Hours and Timetables: shops are opened from Monday to Friday between 09:00am or 10:00am and 07:00pm.
When there is a lunch break usually it is from 01:00pm to 03:00pm.
Most of the shops on Saturday open only in the morning from 09:00am or 10:00am and 01:00pm.
The exception is the shopping centers opened from 10:00am to 11:00pm seven days a week and in some cases to midnight.

Banks: are usually opened from Monday to Friday between 08:30am and 03:00pm

Museums: opened from 10:00am to 17:00pm. Closed on Mondays

Underground: the underground operates between 06:00am and 01:00am (www.metrolisboa.pt)
The best way to reach the Congress Venue, if you are not in Expo, is by metro – Red Line / Estação do Oriente. 1 ticket – 0,80 € one day ticket – 3,70 € Lisboa card – 32,00€/72 hours/person or 26,00€/48 hours/person (valid for all public transports, museums and monuments)

Arriving in Lisbon: on your arrival in Lisbon (International Airport in Lisbon) the best way to get your hotel is by taxi.
For your reference an average fair between the airport and a hotel in the centre of town should cost around 10 €. Depending on the luggage it can be charged 1,60 per load.
